Favorite Old Photo: Janes Fertilizer truck

2012-07-28 - Photo from collection of Ralph Roy Waggener. Early days of Janes Fertilizer: With the editorial assistance and expertise of his granddaughter Jade, Ralph Roy Waggener went though some old photos in their files and found some pictures they really liked and wanted to share with others. Don't know the exact year of this black & white of the fertilizer/lime spreader, but it appears tocrepresent a part of the fleet at the start of a formidable company by a formidable man, Richie Janes, the guy who put - or at least keeps - Gradyville, KY, on the map. Wonder if anyone can place the year, the model year of the truck, and the location. It looks like the earth fill of a dam. - EW Clicking ReadMore accesses information on the truck and model year.
