$500 raised for St. Jude



2012-07-25 - Photo from Chris Wilson. Chris Wilson thanks everyone for Supporting the St. Jude's Annual Event! Chris Wilson writes, "I would like to thank the generous folks who donated and purchased items at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Auction held July 14, 2012 in conjunction with the Avery Ashbrook Estate Auction. We were able to raise approximately $500 to benefit St. Jude's Children Hospital that specializes in the treatment and prevention of Childhood Cancer. The generous donors for this auction were Ladies Mission quilting group of Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, Mildred Wilson, Judy Stewart, anonymous pocket knife donor and Golden Rule-Wilson. The generous buyers at the auction are pictured with their merchandise from left Curtis Hill; Jean Luttrell, Russell County Judge Executive Gary Robertson; Sharon Burleson, Bruce Wilson; and not pictured is William Burton of Williams furniture who was still buying more items! LOL - Thank you to everyone for supporting this annual event." - Chris Wilson
