Double Rainbow at the 2012 Adair County Fair

2012-07-14 - 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne. It's been an incredible week at the fair. The weather cooled at the start of this week - and Tv star Ernie Brown, Jr., provided a huge surprise with the filming of a Tv episode with two crowd pleasing incidents on the Midway and center stage. On Thursday, nature provided this spectacular double rainbow. Fortunately, Shamarie Claiborne was on the scene - "Got these shots while I was helping at the Block Building Thursday night! Couldn't resist the shot had to stop serving food for a few moments to run outside and get my camera. In some of them you can see the double rainbow it was an awesome sight!," she writes. Shamarie and the Band Boosters are providing hometown cooking at the fair. Today is the biggest day of the fair, with events starting at 9amCT and continuing through the Cash Giveaway at the close of the event tonight. $10,000 will be won by some very luck individuals.
