...and Lindsey Wilson's only Olympian, ever -
Kellis Booth a partner at Cafe on the Square stands by the framed jersey of Danny Caluag, the first ever and only Olympic competitor from Lindsey Wilson College. The display is one of 14 which adorn the walls each representing a national championship. Three are for LWC Cycling team championship. Individuals honored, include Caluag, Brittany Bates, Weston Pope, Cody Stagner, Joe Haley (2), Jenni Huff, Kristol Waldo, Charles Mooney, Crystal Kalogris, and Andrew Parson, who is now Assistant Cycling Coach at Lindsey. The collection is on loan to the Cafe through October. Lindsey Wilson Cycling Coach Dave Grigsby hopes to find a fitting place on campus for the exhibit, honoring one of the two most successful sports programs at Lindsey Wilson - and still the only one ever to have an Olympic competitor.
