Groundbreaking for New Elementary School

School officials and other dignitaries took part in a groundbreaking at 11:45amCT this morning for the new Adair County elementary school which will replace the aging Col. Wm Casey School. Reed; Former Superintendent Darrell Treece, Board Member Marsha Walker (2); Board Chairman Floyd Burton (Div. 4); Sue Stivers, Executive Director of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce; Board Member Joe Payne (Div. 3); Columbia Mayor Mark D.
