(Ad) The Perfect Hamburger? Almost. It is a sincere one

2012-07-10 - The Flatwoods, District 4, Adair County, KY - Photo from Flatwoods Deli. A Sincere Hamburger
The customer raved. Said it was perfect. The best he'd ever eaten. Said it was Perfect. We call it a Really Good, Sincere hamburger. Like so many things on our menu, it was cooked to order for a high maintenance customer, who ordered the thick sliced sweet onion, the red ripe but firm tomato, the lettuce sticking over the the bun. We would have toasted the bun if he'd asked. And we served it with icy cold, iced milk. And sure, we could brand it. Name it after its inspiration: Wheeler Hill or Mt. St. Helens (the flavors practically explode in your mouth, he said) but, that's too Big Time for The Flatwoods. For now it's just a Sincere Hamburger, with Cheese, Lettuce, a Thick Sliced Onion, and a Garden Fresh, Center Cut, Tomato on a Hamburger Bun. The Flatwoods Diner, 6470 Burkesville Road (soon to be Wheeler Hill Road), in The Flatwoods. It's easy to remember our hours: Every day, 6amCT to 7pmCT, seven days a week. Phone 270-378-6979.
