Adair Farmers Market: Proper Tomato Sandwich Tomatoes

2012-07-06 - 413 Fairground Street, Columiba, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Danny Rooks is in the store today with Margie Rooks at the Adair Farmer's Market, as elan man and to give advice on making a proper tomato sandwich. "Those are the kind I like. Sliced thick. Between two slices of bread with salad dressing and a little black pepper." The Rooks Produce Counter was set up early, already selling even before the official opening time of 6amCT. They advise everyone to come early, beat the heat, while supplies are greatest. It's cool and pleasant a 6amCT, this morning, Friday, July 6, 2012! - EW
