VFW Commander Joe Hare speaks to Patriot Guard Riders

VFW Post 15, Columbia, KY, Commander Joe Hare speaks with fellow Patriot Guard Riders at ceremonies marking the dedication of the Historical Marker at McKinney, Lincoln Co., KY, to the 1966 crash of the B-58 Hustler Bomber on December 16, 1966. Patriot Guard riders Above in no particular order, from Adair and Cumberland Counties who attended were: Steve Burris, Sue Burris, Jeff Schorman, Ron Griffith, Jimmy Walker, Mark Polston, CR Drake, Terri Drake, and Pat Hare. Members of VFW Post 6097 also participated in the event, which was spearheaded by Columbia Historian Chris Bennett, after hearing the story told by Alan W. Reed, then a student in Liberty, KY, and who visited the crash scene minutes after it occurred.
