Everyone is invited to the Historic Adair County Courthouse where the first annual Book Fair is in full swing until 3pmCT today, Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 500 Public Square, Columbia. The crowd today has varied from packed to steady. The hallways and downstairs office rooms are packed with book sellers, historians, and genealogists, and those just interested in touring the building. Above, Linda Waggener holds one of today's most popular items, an Adair Heritage Association Historical Courthouse T-shirt. - Ellen Zornes.
