2012-05-19 - S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Greensburg, KY,
is proving that Downtowns can be scenic, shady, and safe and that the best of yesterday can be preserved - even improved. This is a view from the 100 block of S. Main onto the Square. On the left is the historic Woodson Lewis building. On the right, the green and red buildings are to be restored to become a downtown hotel, and restaurant. A moist historic district vote for alcoholic beverages recently passed and has now been upheld through the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
