ACHS art students visit glassworks, Louisville, KY

Last week ACHS Senior Art Students challenged their artistic skills and travelled to Louisville to blow and fuse art glass at Glassworks. Some students worked with local artists to create blown glass ornaments in the Flame Run hot shop. Students of teacher Debra Wimmer, not all of whom are in the photo above, who made the trip were Angela Barker, Ashley Brown, Elizabeth Caldwell, Sarah Hadley, Courtney James, Kayla Kelsay, Chelsea Nowlin, Cora Nowlin, Brandy Parson, Portia Roberts, Randy Streeval. Also attending were other local students Julie Gerard, Bailey Shepperd and Kate Wimmer. - April Shepperd
