Teaching Skywarn Class at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church: Nearly 50 people attended the class on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Speakers included: Ron Steve, left from the National Weather Service in Louisville, described cloud formations and additional duties of the NWS. Stephanie Midgett, center, from WBKO-TV, discussed the obligation the TV station has to interrupt programming to warn viewers of dangerous weather situations. Joe Sullivan, right, from the National Weather Service in Louisville, spoke to attendees about the various functions of the NWS. - Chad Parnell
