The Ford Garage, Columbia, KY

2012-04-30 - Photo from the Effie Heskamp collection.
This building stood next door to what is now NAPA Auto Parts (originally Heskamp Motor Company - 411 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY.) The man in the photo is George Stevenson. The sign in the window is for Weldon Grenfell campaign. One of the car's license plates has been identified as KY 1917. The building went through many transformations over the years; I believe it was operated by Bobby Collins as Collins Buick for awhile. The building burned to the ground several years ago. ~Ann Heskamp Curtis
