Girl Scouts celebrate Earth Day visiting Adair Recycling

Girl Scout Troop No. 1089
celebrated Earth Day, April 22, 2012, by taking a tour of the Adair County Recycling Center. The troop also received an reviewed a booklet that talked about saving our earth, things to recycle and famous environmentalists from troop leaders Shannon Campbell and Shantila Rexroat. Front row, from left, are Amber Loy, Kaylee Campbell, Sarai Collins, Meredith Compton, and Shelby Smith. From left, back row Kiara Collins, Elizabeth Rexroat, Alexia Feese, A L Sinclair, Katlyn Lacy, Shayla Cravens, Jeanene Pike Other members of Troop No. 1089 who could not attend are Amanda Nokes and Jenna Rodgers. Troop No.1089 would like to give a special thanks to A L Sinclair for allowing us to visit and learn more about how the Adair County Recycling Center, 62 Service Road, Columbia, KY. is helping our county. -Jacqueline Collins
