Dr. Holliday visits Adair County Schools

Dr. Terry Holliday
Kentucky's fifth and current Commissioner of Education, visited Adair County Schools today, Friday, March 30, 2012. After visiting Col. Wm. Casey Elementary and seeing the urgent need for a new facility there, he toured the showplace Adair County Elementary School. Above, at a well attended reception for media and school and public officials, Dr. Holliday told the gathering that he was very impressed with the overall culture of the Adair County School District, and especially, the district's commitment to the children. Dr. Holliday, a native of Belton, SC, has held Kentucky's highest educational post since 2009. He's the author of Running All the Red Lights: A Journey of System-Wide Educational Reform.
