Cleanup truck on standby in case it's needed

A full complement of response teams swarmed at the Sparksville scene today. The Garrison Construction truck, with specialist operator Andy Collins, was parked on standby just in case a clean up of hazardous material were to occur, according to Garrison spokesperson Mike Mitchum. Garrison Construction is a sub-contractor or joint-venture partner of Evergreen Environmental of Louisville, KY, a Jerry McCandless (Lindsey Wilson College trustee for whom McCandless Hall is named) company. Should a clean up be needed, Garrison would remove any contamination to EPA standards, restore the contour, and re-seed or re-sod the area. The landmark structures in the background are the one time W.L. Harvey General Store and the Yank Loy Garage and Store.
