CVE Officer Josh Brockman, was the first on the scene after explosives laden truck overturned this morning in Sparksville, KY. The popular former Columbia Police Department officer still lives in Columbia, KY. His territory for the CVE is Region 2, which includes the Kentucky State Police counties served by Post 3, Elizabethtown; KSP Post 4, Bowling Green; and KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY. Officer Brockman lauded the driver of the truck, Robert Cox, Bardstown, KY, for refusing to leave the scene for treatment until after he had given all the necessary information needed to stabilize the situation. Cox drives for Austin Powder Company of Willisburg, KY. The truck was on its way to Gaddie-Shamrock in Albany, KY, he said.
