David Givens, R-Greensburg, KY, responds to a question in a panel about the 2012 Kentucky General Assembly at the 51st annual Kentucky Political Science Association meeting Saturday at Campbellsville University. At far right is Kentucky State Rep. Bam Carney, R-Campbellsville, KY, who also spoke during the panel discussion. In center is John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president at Campbellsville University who served as the KPSA president for 2011-12. Givens serves Senate District 9 which covers Allen, Barren, Edmonson, Green, Metcalfe and Simpson counties. Carney serves Adair and Taylor counties in House District 51.
