Webbs X-Roads Storm Feb. 29, 2012: Along US 127

A large number of South Kentucky RECC linemen were at this location on US 127 north of Webb's Cross roads restoring down powerlines. A large tree was uprooted at the home on the crest of the hill, and roofing had been sheared away in high winds/tornado which struck the area today. The house on the hill, is the old Cunningham place, and, writer Melissa Rexroat-Craigmiles writes, the uproated tree was around when her late father, Oris Rexroat, was born. The road to the left is New Poplar Grove Road, she writes.
