Spring beauty backdropped by eerie, angry skies

The budding red of a tree and the deepening greens of the fields and cedars contrasted starkly with the ominous clouds miles to the east of Trinity United Methodist Church today, at about the same time as a spring storm was striking the Webbs X-Roads and Patty Ridge Road area of Russell County, just east of The Millerfields in Adair County. Russell County Dispatch said that to their knowledge there had been no damage in Adair County. Larry Smith, Operations Manager for the Big Dawg, FM 99.9 in Campbellsville, KY, said that he had reports that some roads were shut down in the Webb's Cross Roads area.
