Scenic Adair County, KY: View up Hood Cemetery Road

Across Pelham Branch Road from the Richard Smith Family Foot Bridge is a remarkable scene, the gracefully curving Hood Cemetery Road. It's a County Road, but in Adair County, it's kind of a given that one respects the privacy of the residents and only goes to visit the cemetery or close friends and relatives along the way. Still, it's hard not let the imagination of the incredible vista from the top provide the impetus to climb it. There's probably not a harder hill for a hiker or a cyclist in Adair County.
