Owens Bros. - Big Al & Son Wichita - Report team at Lucas Oil

2012-02-05 - Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol, Indianapolis, IN - Photo By Big Al & Wichita.
The hottest writing team in Indianapolis today
Big Al, the Big Rig Trucker, left, and Wichita Owens, his son, right outside of Lucas Oil Stadium, the site of today's Super Bowl action. They arrived in Indy yesterday, and found the town quite to their liking. The big report, on fantastic food at Bryan Shapiro's delicatessen on South Meridian, is due to arrive at CM world Headquarters within 24 hours. Big Al says Wichita was named after Dakota Meyer, before Dakota Meyer was famous. "We knew Dakota," he said, "when he was just a neat kid growing up in Columbia. We thought his name was really cool, and started to give Wichita the name 'Dakota,' but then we settled on 'Wichita.' It's a good name for a writer, don't you think?" Wichita is a sophomore at Campbellsville High School this year. The Owens took each other photo for this side-by-side.
