Whitey Shackelford and Jimmy Wentworth back at Lindsey Wilson

Lindsey Wilson College basketball alumni Edward "Whitey" Shackelford of Somerset, KY, left, and Jimmy Wentworth, also of Somerset, enjoyed the Saturday afternoon, February 4, 2012, Lindsey Wilson College vs. University of the Cumberlands of Williamsburg, KY men's basketball game at Biggers Sports Center. Both 1958 LWC alumni were teammates at the college then went separate ways to finish their college careers, but they played one another a couple times the following season - Shackelford for Union College in Barbourville, KY and Wentworth for Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC. LWC, ranked No. 8 in the NAIA, lost 77-76 to fall to 15-7 overall and 7-4 in the Mid-South Conference. LWC's next home game is against West Virginia Institute of Technology at 8pmCT on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.
