The Feedman passes this house several times a week, but just recently got a chance to add this photo to his impressive photographic catalog of Distinctive Kentucky Landmarks. It's a 1900's wood frame structure, the McClain Hotel, an imposing building in Downtown Buffalo, KY, which is now for sale for $47,000, The Feed notes in this picture Seen in the ColumbiaMagazine group on Flickr. If you go Take KY 61/Dakota Meyer Highway north and continue KY 61 past the Jane Todd Crawford House, then through restored Historic Greensburg, KY, on through Summersville, Bloyd's Crossing, Allendale, Mt. Sherman, and, according to Google Maps, 41.2 miles from Downtown Columbia, KY, a trip of 52 miles, you're in Buffalo, LaRue County, KY. The big house is on the East Side of KY 61.
