Todd Davenport, holds son Lash, who's holding a Pizza Peeler and showing off the latest development on the Downtown Food Scene, wood fired pizza. The business opened Thursday night and did a brisk business. The mobile oven was built by Davenport, and becomes the second mobile vending operation in his family. His father, Bill Davenport, has a Hot Dog Cart. Mr. Davenport said that the Pizza Place, which he and wife Cassie Stockton Davenport and their son own, will be open 4pm-9pmCT each weekend from now on. The Davenports are developing plans for the Dairy Dip ice cream store at 114 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY. The Pizza Operation is set up in the back of the Dairy Dip. The lights in the background are at Lynn's Service Center and on Jamestown Hill.
