Superintendent Rowe says rails are up; paint, speech to follow

Superintendent of Streets Donnie Rowe called CM this morning to let us know that the handrails are in place on the Stairway to the Square and the shops along the historically named Well Walk on the Little Corner off the Square, are in place. The next step is for his department to paint the rails, then it will be Mayor Harris' responsibility. The Mayor has invited citizens to share ideas for sprucing up E. Adams Alley, saying he wants it and the green area by City Hall to be a showplace. The Mayor's office is in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street. The phone number there is 270-384-2501.
