The Turtleman and Mr. Smith

2012-01-20 - Photo Innocent bystander.
"The Turtleman, the dude on the right, is a regular on my show at 99.9 the Big Dawg. On Christmas Day he called me and said he was coming to visit me Christmas day. So we met for a radio interview, It wa unpromoted and un-advertised, but a huge crowd showed up at the studio. it was crazy!!! The Turtleman has made regular appearances on Leno, CNN and other big networks including his show 'The Call of the Wildman' on the Animal Planet network," Larry Smith writes. Smith is the other dude in the photo above, internationally famous in his own right, as the signature morning voice of The WAVE, 92.7 FM, and he, as either he claims, is the signature voice of The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, in the afternoon, or, as so many believe, it's his clone or Evil Twin at work over there. Either way, they're famous as Larry Smiths. In real life The Turtleman is Ernie Brown, Jr, Lebanon, KY inhabitant. Here, by the way, is a link to a "Call of the Wildman" video: Animal Planet Videos: Call of the Wildman: Armadillo Chaos!. Smith counts the Turtleman as one of the three factors which have made South Central Kentucky the epicenter of the universe in just the past year.
