2011 Christmas Courthouse Carolers

What is hoped will be an everlasting tradition got off the a grand start last night, as carolers gathered to sing the songs of Christmas on the Historic Adair County Courthouse. Among the singers, not in order were Nancy Cozby, Barbara Armitage, Jerry Holt, Doug White, J.D. Zornes, Della Shaw, Maury Lewis, Debbie White, Sheila Lynch, Bryana Hodge, Cheyenne Ricker, Freeman Hartwell, Zachary Ricker, Tyson Ricker, Beverly Hartwell, Millie Ricker, Vernon Ricker, Jeff Scott, Henrietta Scott, and Ellen Zornes. Zornes, The Adair Heritage Association's leader, said she was elated with this experience, which was capped by a post carols visit to McDonald's of Columbia for a hot chocolate aftermath and critique.
