Getting Old Courthouse ready for Christmas in Columbia

Still cleaning: Lee Ann Jessie, Adair Heritage Association Correspondence Secretary and all around superwoman, continues cleaning efforts at the Courthouse. It's getting better, but still much to go. We are working hard to get it clean enough to begin the 'Hanging of the Greens' next week in preparation for Christmas in Columbia. Through the efforts of another miracle worker, Charles Grimsley, Christmas in Columbia on Saturday, December 3, 2011, will include vendor booths in the Old Courthouse with extended hours from 8am-3pmCT. - ELLEN ZORNES
