Fiscal Court Interrupted for election tally completion

Judge Ann Melton Standing Convened Adair Fiscal Court promptly at 7pmCT to take vote to recess until the election tallying, continuing behind her, was completed. Standing in the back of the room are Ellen Zornes, Chair of the Adair Heritage Association, Adair Emergency Disaster Manager Greg Thomas, Magistrate Harold Burton (District 1), and Magistrate Joe Rogers (6). The large gathering including a group of Adair Courthouse preservation supporters from the Adair Heritage Association. Members of the Adair Association seated are Lila Ford, Ernestine Bennett, Roger Meadows, Ted Caldwell, Jerry Holt, Nancy Cozby, Lee Ann Jessee, Vonnie Kolbenschlag, George Kolbenschlag, Geniece Marcum with Linda Waggener, (not visible), and Linda Lewis. In Front left, are Adair Co. County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin and two members of Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Blair's staff whose names are being verified before posting. The heritage group appeared to get clarification on Fiscal Court's plans to support maintenance of the building, which was unanimously approved after Fiscal Court reconvened and presentations were made by Zornes and Jessee. Among others attending were Adair County historian Mike Watson and others Adair Heritage members, out of frame, and all members of Fiscal Court, including Magistrates Daryl Flatt (2), Sammy Baker (3), Perry Reeder (4), Billy Dean Coffey (5), and Billy Rowe (7).
