Sugar Mama and her blended family

2011-10-19 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Sandy Coomer.
It's hard to believe, looking at this family, that just a few hours ago, four babies had been found in a bag discarded in a dumpster at a local filling station. Fortunately, Johnny Morgan found them, got them to Sandy Coomer, whose cat, Sugar Mama, had just given birth to three of her own kittens and accepted the orphans as her own. When they are old enough for Forever Homes, Sandy Coomer, author of the accompanying story, says the the kittens will be posted for adoption in about six weeks.
