Downtown Days: Deep fried just about anything

It was the first time at Downtown Days for Jeff and Tammy Thrasher of Bronston, Pulaski Co., KY, with their Stuff on a Stick Cookhouse, but if today goes anything like last night, they'll be back, they say. Jeff is son of famed Kentucky artist Fred Thrasher. He says they will deep fry just about anything, just so it won't harm the fryer. Candy bars and deep fried pizzas have been favorites. The food court has the most vendors ever, according to Gina Baker, a Downtown Days committee member and organizer.
