Gov. Beshear listens as Attorney Elmer George speaks

2011-08-31 - Lebanon, KY - Photo by Larry Smith.
Larry Smith, Operations Manager for Shoreline Communications The Big Dawg radio station FM 99.9 writes, "Governor Steve Beshear listens as famed and feared attorney Elmer George of Lebanon, KY, spoke on his behalf at a get together at the home of Dr. James Angell on KY 49 East of Lebanon, KY. The Governor also spoke, as did the host. Supporters from several nearby counties were in attendance, including Attorney Judy Vance of Columbia, KY; Mayor Lisle Cheatham of Greensburg, KY, and Judge Eddie Rogers of Taylor County. Entertainment was by the Campbellsville University's symphony group. The group enjoyed good political fellowship, and a dinner, served in the beautiful fall like night air, of Grilled Chicken, Penn's Country Ham, Special Dinner Rolls, Green Beans, Corn, Potatoes, and salads - and other fine Kentucky produced products. A good time was had by all." -Larry Smith
