A friendship which began at Lindsey Wilson College in the 70scontinues at Campbellsville University. Adair County native HildaHumphress Legg and Cumberland County native John Edward Chowningdebated politics at Lindsey as students, not knowing that they'd touchbase many times over matters of education and politics throughouttheir lives. Chowning, vice president for church and externalrelations and executive assistant to CU President Michael V. Carter,invited Legg, owner of Legg Strategies in Somerset, to be the guestspeaker and inspire employees as a new school year begins.
