Adair County Magisterial Districts - Final Map

2011-08-08 - Photo by Neal Cundiff, Lake Cumberland Area Development District.
The Adair County Fiscal Court will vote on this final redistricting plan, in its final map version above, in item No. 16 of a 21 item agenda Tuesday evening, in the regular August 9, 2011 session of Fiscal Court, which starts at 7pmCT in the Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Reapportionment was required following the 2010 census, which reflected some major growth in population, the highest in the county's history. Almost all the district line changes were in the City of Columbia, where large numbers could be moved with land area changes. District one in the far northeastern section, represented by Harold Burton, required no changes. The populations of the districts are to have no more than a 10% variance between the highest population and the lowest. Clicking ReadMore accesses full agenda for August regular meeting.
