Campbellsville University presented her 25th anniversary Excellence in Teaching Awards Saturday, May 21, 2011 to 150 teachers from 55 Kentucky school districts. Making the presentation were from far left: Dr. Brenda A. Priddy, dean of the School of Education; and Dr. Frank Cheatham, far right, vice president for academic affairs. Those receiving the award from the Taylor County School System were from left: Troy Benningfield, secondary curriculum specialist and teacher leader; Susan Kilby, assistant superintendent; Karen McAnelly, Taylor County High School recipient; Charles Higdon Jr., Taylor County High School principal; Kim Shofner, Taylor County Elementary School recipient; Traci Sharpe, Exceptional Education Director; and Brian Clifford, Taylor County Elementary School principal.
