Scenic Adair Co., KY: Granny roses

2011-05-13 - Sparksville RD, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
They are a little past prime, but the deep color leaves them beautiful, still. I'm not sure the official name for these official roses, but they put me in mind of my olden times, and I call them "Granny Roses." - Linda Waggener. The roses were photographed 2011-05-12 at the corner of Sparksville RD/KY 768 and R. Loy RD. Information on the more proper name for the roses welcome.
