Mayor Hardwick: Cleanup tradition started in his tenure

Former Columbia Mayor Curtis Hardwick has volunteered for PRIDE Spring Cleanup for almost every one - except for a time when he was an official in Frankfort in the Fletcher administration - and is helping this morning. The Spring cleanup tradition started in his tenure as Mayor; he remembers only that it was during his second administration. Hardwick won the mayoral position three times. He resigned in his third term to take a high ranking position with the Kentucky Department of Highways.
