The Arctic Temperatures are getting worse: Lindsey Wilson Cycling Coach has recorded another low temperature for Columbia on his iPhone: -9 degrees. That's almost 10 degrees lower than the 0.09 degrees F recorded at the Columbia, KY Mesonet Weather Station. CM questions neither figure, but it may come down to whether the iPhone reading was taken in the Alpine reaches of Adair County, possibly from a moving bicycle and is in no way meant to be a question of whom are you going to trust, Steve Jobs or Stuart Foster? The former being an electronics gadgets promoter; the latter, a pioneering scientist at Western Kentucky University.
