Three roads will be resurfaced in 2011

The Map at Left indicates the location of three road improvement resurfacing projects presented to and approved by the Adair County Fiscal Court in last night's meeting. Mr. Jeff Dick, right photo, from the Kentucky Department of Transportation, Kentucky Department of Highways District 8 office in Somerset, appeared before the Adair Fiscal Court last night and recommended the court approve three asphalt resurfacing projects for 2011. The projects are KY 533, Independence Ridge Road, Number 4, above, from Greenbriar Road to the end of state maintenance, a total of 3.601 miles; KY 1952, Chance Road, Number 3 above, from Walnut Grove Rd to KY 768, distance of 2.006 miles, and Snake Creek Road Number 5 above, from Jr. Bailey RD to Orby Burton RD, a distance of .0.818 miles.
