Robert Flowers appointed to another post

Columbia City Councillor Robert Flowers, above at the February 7, 2011, City Council meeting, was appointed, on February 8, 2011, to the Columbia-Adair Utilities District Board by Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton. Flowers will replace Mitch Harris, whose term has expired. Flowers currently sits on the Columbia-Adair County Water Commission, which is scheduled to be abolished when the commission is merged with the C-A Utilities District. That should be around September 30, 2011, Utilities District General Manager Lenny Stone projected at the group's meeting Tuesday afternoon, February 8, 2011.
