Animals predicting weather: Petals builds nest, pre-storm

2011-02-04 - Sycamore Springs, KY - Photo by Cynthia Meyer.
The Crabby Pig: "Petals in one of her nests, getting ready for bad weather coming in," writes Cynthia Meyer, who elaborates on the true personality of Petals. "Don't let the picture of Petals fool you," she says. "She may look like she is smiling, but she is not!!" Cynthia Meyer, comments. "Over all she is pretty much a crabby pig...kinda like a cat in a pig suit. Make sure she has food and water. And leave her alone for the most part. She sometimes 'talks' to the horses. Oddly enough. They stand there and listen to her oink and grunt. I once told a woman in Glasgow about my dream restaurant. After I got through describing it, she asked me the name... I replied, The Crabby Pig Cafe; I would only sell chicken, beef and fish... no pork"
