Rowe, Flatt and Burton are freshmen magistrates, elected to their first term on November 2, 2010. County officers terms began at 12:01amCT, Monday morning, January 3, 2011. They will convene as a legislative body for the first time at 8:30amCT, this morning, January 3, 2011, at the Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Squire Joe Rogers (6), is now the senior member of the court. Judge Melton is a member of the court, with voting privileges, but has chosen not to do so in her first term. The option allows her to vote to create a tie as a member of the body and then vote as CJE to break the tie.
