2010 Holiday Greetings from 2nd District Magistrate Wid Harris

It's from the bottom of my heart: I want everyone in Adair County to know that I sincerely do wish richest blessings on everyone in this Christmas Season, and the best for everyone next year. I truly believe that our best years are in the future. I'm standing with the wonderful old Adair County Courthouse in the background. It's meant, and still means so much to me during the 29 years I've served on Fiscal Court. I wanted its huge size to be a symbol for the feelings I have today as I take this time to thank the voters for their enthusiastic support for my candidacy to be Adair County Judge Executive. We fought hard and came close. Another candidate was chosen, but I want everyone to know that I still want to help in any way I can. Adair County is bigger than any one person. With Adair County United nothing is impossible for this county. Let's all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy the New Year's holiday, then on January 3, realize the matchless opportunities ahead and plan to achieve them.
