2010-11-24 - Photo by Sally Kemp. Western Bypass, Columbia, KY
How some of the money was made for Community Thanksgiving: "Hands Extended members pulled out all stops to raise money for our Community Thanksgiving Dinner. A part of the organization gathered on October 23, 2010 to participate in the County Roadside Clean up. For our efforts, we collected $250.00 for cleaning 5 miles of roadway. The members pictured above are Maury Lewis, volunteer Barbara Armitage, and Jesse Cook. The other members who participated in the clean up but not in this picture are Glen and Penny Case Sally and Jimmy Kemp, Brenda Huckaby, Allison Hollon and Diane Dulworth. We invite you to come and fellowship with us, your community, on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2010, starting at 10:30amCT at the Columbia Christian Church at 206 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY," writes Jimmy Kemp.
