Scenic Metcalfe Co., KY: Christmas angel at Seven Springs

2010-11-21 - Photo by Linda Waggener. 1607 Seven Springs Church RD, Center, KY
A Christmas Angel stands beside the Armed Forces in the beautiful Seven Springs Cemetery in front of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Center, Metcalfe Co., KY. The memorial reads, "In honor and memory of all who served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. Remembered but not forgotten." The monument was erected, the lower inscription reads, "In loving memory of Gene and Ione Stapp, presented by Doris Love and Nancy L. Heath, June 10, 2007." Ione Stapp wrote many wonderful articles for Senior Quest magazine while my mother and my very favorite writer, Geniece Marcum, was editor. Ione Stapp was a special friend of Me Mum's. -Linda
