Harold McKinney, recently elected Boyle County Judge Executive, discussesthe election with his sister, Doris McKinney Lane at a recent meeting inDanville. Harold and Doris are Adair County natives.
The photo - of the Doris McKinney Lane and Judge McKinney, the Garlin, Adair Co., KY native who is seen by many to become the first Governor of Kentucky from Adair County since Thomas Bramblette (Bramblette is claimed by the Albanians in Clinton Co, but he had a law practice in Columbia and a misspelled street in Columbia is named for him), if not the first ever President of the United States from here - was taken by Dr. Gary Lane of Metcalfe County, Lindsey Wilson College, and Danville fame.
