Remembering Arnold Mayse (1924-2010)

Arnold Mayse, Adair Co., KY (1924-2010)
The photo above, of Arnold Mayse and his wife, McEva, who survives was taken when the couple was visiting at the David and Nancy Mann house in February, 2010 on their 65th wedding anniversary. "You do not see the cake and flowers in this picture," Nancy Mann writes, "because I was trying to get the correct setting on my camera. It is a candid, unposed and unplanned photo, and I think that is why I like it so much." She adds, "I once read that the greatest gift a father could give his children was to Love their mother; and I think its easy to see in this picture that they still had that Spark that brought them together over 65 years ago." -Nancy Mann, daughter of Arnold and McEva Mayse.
