1st: Mt. Juliet, TN buyer goes in Adair Co. record book!

Wesley Mikel Mt. Juliet, TN, holds his purchase, a big sackful of toys for which he paid only $3.76, which was the first ever purchase ever made in the first ever Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Columbia Retail and Donations Center, made shortly after the store's 9amCT opening on Friday, October 15, 2010! The historic buy includes cars, airplanes, vans, and other items which Wesley may or may not share with his three brothers. The first grader is the grandson of Ken and Nancy Bean, Somerset, KY. Grandfather Ken Bean, Vice President of the Cumberland division for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky was the master of ceremonies for the Grand Opening of the store, the 58th Goodwill Industries Store in Kentucky. The store is now open seven days a week with regular business hours 9am -8pmCT. Monday through Saturday, and 1pm-6pmCT Sunday.
