A Praise Report: Thanks to your prayers

Bella came to the hospital rehab area to visit Mom (Geniece Marcum) yesterday. It was a big moment on Mom's path to recovery from a stroke on September 7, thanks to your prayers and the wonderful treatment at Baptist East. I don't know who was happiest, Mom and her little dog, or us, seeing their joy at meeting after so many days apart. We arrived to see the physical therapists helping Mom take a few steps with a walker and cane under their careful assistance. She was talking so well and remembering so well that I simply felt showered in blessings. Mom said her doctor had visited earlier in the day and told her that she has made a nearly miraculous recovery. For my Mother, and from her family, thanks for your prayers. They have meant everything. Please continue to pray with us that her right side will be fully restored. And a note: Mom promised my husband, several times, that she will write again.
